The Auld Tennis Academy, based in Corona California provides world class professional tennis instruction to players of all ages and all levels.

Our team of international pros has over 80 years of combined coaching and playing experience including decades on the professional circuit. The goal of our highly trained professional coaching staff is to give players the best advantage and opportunity to reach their own goals, through the use of personal experience and the Auld Tennis Academy curriculum influenced by the International Tennis Federation.​ 

Our programs focus on players reaching their full potential in a fun and competitive environment. We offer one on one private instruction and group instruction for kids and adults. The Auld Tennis Academy strives for players to feel comfortable and supported in a learning environment that is specific to their needs.

Through years of teaching and coaching, Auld Tennis Academy students have competed and won at State, National, and International level events including the Easter Bowl, Orange Bowl, Eddie Herr, Jr U.S. Open, Jr Wimbledon, and Jr Davis Cup. Our coaches have traveled with students all over the world to compete in international tournaments in places as diverse as Italy, Sweden, Germany, Austria, France, England, Peru, Canada, Mexico, the Philippines, Costa Rica, the Caribbean and Africa.


Auld Tennis Academy coaches have also been directly responsible for millions of dollars in scholarships. Our players have gone on to play tennis at some of the nation's top universities as well as the professional men's and women's circuits. Come join us today.

Daren was born in Brooklyn, New York and raised on the island nation of Haiti.  At the age of 11 his family fled Haiti to escape political and civil unrest, eventually finding their home in Corona, California. After seven years competing professionally against some of the best players in the world, Daren's career was cut short with a devastating tear of his achilles tendon that kept him in crutches for nearly a year.

He returns home to Corona after almost a decade living and playing internationally in places as diverse as: Italy, Switzerland, France, Germany, Austria, Philippines, Japan, Costa Rica, England, Canada, Australia, and Sweden.

Born in Brooklyn NY, and raised on the Island nation of Haiti, Brenn is the embodiment of what the Auld Tennis Academy is all about. After fleeing Haiti during political and civil unrest, the Auld family found their home in Corona, California. It is there that, as Brenn likes to put it "we laid the bricks for my game."

His development included stints at some of the best academies in Europe, Asia, and the US including time at Nick Bollettieri's Academy in Florida the legendary coach of Andre Agassi. After years of touring internationally, he is now focused on passing on his knowledge and experience. Giving everything he can back to the community, and to the sport that he feels has given him so much.

A native of Rio Grande de Sul, Brazil, Alessandro joins the Auld Tennis Academy after an impressive NAIA playing career, during which be became the No. 3 ranked NAIA men's tennis player in the country. His blistering groundstrokes and South American flare then took him to the ATP tour where he still competes. His passion for the sport, intense work ethic, unimpeachable character and international experience make him a valuable member of our team.

Director of International Tennis



Joining the Auld Tennis Academy from Great Britain, Tim Kpulun is the Director of International Tennis. When he is not bringing his easy going nature to the kids and courts of the Auld Tennis Academy, he competes worldwide and works as a practice partner for many of the ATP and WTA tours top players. Including Roger Federer world #1, Maria Sharapova world #1, Nick Kyrgios world #10, and Grigor Dimitrov world #3.

Head Trainer



Born in Corona and raised in Riverside, Michael joins the Auld Tennis Academy as a return to his first home.  He has been a competitive athlete his entire life training and competing in a variety of sports including junior tennis, college baseball, and club soccer.  After being sidelined by an injury that cut short a promising baseball career, Michael found himself in physical therapy surrounded by people who were passionate about helping athletes recover and get back to the sports they love.  It was then that he found his calling.  Although he has spent the last several years training actors, models, and musicians specifically drummers preparing for world tours, Michael's true passion is helping young athletes.  

By merging his passion for athletics and his desire to help others, Michael hopes to help every athlete he works with achieve their dreams.  Through mental and physical toughness, he believes that nothing is unattainable!
